johnstones is the best for everything id say. dulux is just as good. Zinsser is the best primer by miles. You can use it onto lead based paint with no need to sand (so no brain damage) and it sticks like sh!t to anything inc plastic etc. Its pricey but does a lot of jobs, it also covers stains etc. So I just use it to prime everywhere and cover all marks
