Default Instant boiling water

We purchased one of these 3 second kettles just before Christmas forgot the make but it was fantastic just place your mug under and you get a boiling coffee / tea instantly great, only trouble after a few weeks the temperature got cooler by the day so back it went for a full refund, great idea though just need the teething problems sorting I guess.

Anyone else experienced the same?

We've also got one. Temperature has never been boiling but it comes out quite hot - perfect for coffee anyway.

The thing we've noticed is that you get a white 'cloud' on the top of the drink. Could be just the water I guess.

Worked in a house a couple of weeks ago and the lady there had one of these things but in tap form over the sink. I must say I was very dubious at first but after seeing it in operation I was very convinced. It came from a company in Holland and cost around £700 I think.

Saw one at the KBB show 2 years ago - got iced water and boiling water (well almost boiling!!) out of the same spout. The spout was a bit like a mixer tap - seperate inner and outer water flows. Bloody good but damn expensive!!

I think my kettle will do for me and my family just now. but im happy for people to buy these produce so in a few years time they will sell for £50 on ebay. I also like that my kettle boils the water first.
