Default Diy Plaster

What is the best make of plaster?? Is the cheap stuff from B&Q any good or should i be using Gypsum or similar???

I feel the size of the job in hand is important in this case, if you are looking at small patch repair then a DIY store will stock something suitable, however if you are plastering a full wall or even a full room then a professional product like Gypsum would be my preferred choice.

stick with b gypsum or knauf plasters, plaster isnt expensive relatively. its worth the extra everytime!

I agree with Pro & bear, I've been plastering for 20 years now & if its a small repair job then the cheap stuff will probably do the job but as with everything else, quality costs! We use knauf & BG for every single job, no matter how big or small. The extra couple of quid is worth it everytime

Poor materials & workmanship double the cost of the original price if not more, pay the extra kp

stick with british gypsum i have used it for 26 years
