hi i need some help a job im on has a small leak under the sink its comeing from the isolating valve from the cold feed to the tap i check the valve and its tight but the leak is still there comeing from both ends of the valve any idears what it can be and how i can fix it thanks guys

Turn off supply, remove pipe from both sides of iso valve and apply a smear of jointing compound to each rim of the iso valve, make sure the valve is on the correct way (there's normally a flow arrow!) and refit.
